With over 25 years of experience in a firm opened by he and his father, Mark Shalloway has a firm grasp on not only what it takes to survive as a lawyer, but how to properly treat clients and garner the results they need. As one of the first Elder Law Attorneys in the nation to be certified by the National Elder Law Foundation, Shalloway has made a dent in the practice of elder law. He served as the founding chairperson of the Palm Beach County Bar Association’s Elder Law Committee, and was appointed to serve as the attorney on Florida’s Long-Term Care Ombudsman Council in Palm Beach by former Governors Lawton Chiles and Jeb Bush. In the state of Florida, Shalloway served as President of the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys and is currently serving as Chairman of the Florida Bar Elder Law section Medicaid Committee, providing technical assistance to the Florida Legislature on Elder Legislation. He even had an impact on a national level, serving as the chair of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and later president.

Shalloway’s dedication isn’t limited to assisting those in need of a lawyer. Most law firms give back to their community through fundraising and donations, but this firm goes the extra mile. Other than providing legal services, Shalloway & Shalloway hosts a number of seminars a year to help teach the general public how to protect their assets—from life savings to estate planning. These events even vary in location across the Palm Beach area. The two most recent seminars are occurring within the next few weeks: Tuesday, June 12th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Palm Beach Gardens, and Thursday, June 14th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Boynton Beach.
